"Learning by writing" or being forced to clarify your thoughts in words is an underrated, huge advantage. Great article

Writing force you to bring a lot of new information to the table, and significantly boost your working memory. You just naturally update your own mental model through this process.

Writing is a form of organizing and converting data into blocks of Long-Term Memory that are opened to access.

Doing this long enough, you will have OVERWHELMING advantage over those who just rely on their short-term memory.

Besides the structure itself, memory is also highly correlated with "Conscious", I guess the feeling of existence is also contributed to the dopamine release.
